Fall Harvesting September 28, 2012

Filed under: Recipes from the garden — juliesbradley @ 7:51 pm

Today at Hiawatha School, 1st and 5th graders picked pumpkins and cherry tomatoes. We decorated the front of our school with the pumpkins. It looks like Halloween is coming! We ate some tomatoes and they were scrumptious. You should plant cherry tomotoes in your garden. We hope you enjoy our fall harvest photos!  (photos and story by Edgar B., Samuel G., Estefani F., and Wendy B.).

“Mufasa will never need food again,” said Sebastian!

I can’t believe the size of those pumpkins!! Nice work kids! It has been amazing watching all the plants grow from last year’s planting!
